Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how About After Publishing & Productions (the "Company", "we", "us"), a company registered in Israel, processes personal data in the Saasy Accountant application (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for the personal data described below.

1. Data we collect

• Account data — email address and authentication credentials when you sign up.
• Subscription records — the tool names, categories, prices, billing cycles, renewal dates, statuses, and optional descriptions you enter.
• Goals and planner input — free-text goals or income context you optionally provide to the AI Budget Planner.
• Usage data — feature usage counters (e.g. AI request counts), device and browser information, and IP address, collected for security and rate limiting.
• Support messages — correspondence you send us.

Payment data (card details, billing address, tax identifiers) is collected and processed directly by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record; we never see or store your full card details.

2. Purposes and legal basis

• Providing the Service (contract performance): account creation, storing your records, dashboards, renewals, exports, and AI features.
• Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests): authentication, rate limiting, abuse detection.
• Product improvement (legitimate interests): aggregated, non-identifying usage analysis.
• Customer support (contract performance / legitimate interests).
• Legal obligations: record-keeping where required by law.

3. AI processing

When you use AI features (overlap detection, budget planning, cancellation drafting), the relevant subscription names, descriptions, prices, and your stated goals are sent to third-party AI model providers through our AI gateway solely to generate the response. We apply monthly and hourly usage caps. Do not submit third-party personal data or secrets in descriptions.

4. Browser extension

The optional capture extension reads visible text on the active tab only when you invoke it, to suggest a subscription entry. It never auto-saves data, never transmits page content to our servers, and only opens a pre-filled form in the app for your manual confirmation.

5. Who we share data with

• Service providers / subprocessors — cloud hosting and database infrastructure, authentication, and AI model providers, each processing data only on our instructions.
• Merchant of Record (Paddle.com) — for the sale of subscriptions, payment processing, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where required by applicable law.

6. International transfers

Our infrastructure and providers may process data outside Israel (including in the EU and the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or request deletion, personal data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on the database, and restricted access to production systems.

10. Cookies

The Service uses only essential cookies/local storage required for authentication and your theme preference. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. You can clear them via your browser settings; the Service may not function without the essential ones.
